How to use tree sap & agarwood?

To burn resin or agarwood chips, we recommend using small chunks of charcoal (LINK TO CHARCOAL PRODUCT).


Light the charcoal outside the fireproof part and when it turns hot red be careful when transferring to your mabkhara / incense burner. We recommend using a pair of long braces.


Wait 3-5 minutes until the top of the charcoal has a thick layer of ash and is completely white.


Now simply place your incense sticks or aloes directly onto the charcoal disk and enjoy the fantastic aroma.


Some people like to Place a layer of fine salt on a charcoal disk to slow down the burning rate of the incense sticks or agarwood chips.

Are all Frankincense safe for consumption?


Yes, as long as it comes from a trusted supplier and it is true that Frankincense comes from a plant in the Boswellia family. It is important that you buy Frankincense from a trusted supplier so that you know your Frankincense has been grown and harvested in a clean environment and no chemicals have been used during the production stage.


Do all Frankincense species taste the same?


Absolutely not, there are a wide variety of flavors and taste profiles of different types of Frankincense with some types being very bitter (Boswellia papyrifera) while others have almost no bitter taste (White & Green Hojari, Boswellia Frereana and Boswellia serrata)


How to use incense?


Create Frankincense Water:

Place 4-5 small pieces of resin in a 200ml beaker. Combine with boiled water, cover, and let it steep for a few hours or overnight. Drink up to one cup or more a day, using flavoring to guide you to the proper dosage.


Direct consumption:

The simplest way to enjoy the benefits of Frankincense is to immediately eat 2-3 small Frankincense pieces twice a day in the morning and evening before eating.
